The Exo Top that is made by
Rugged Ridge is a design that is new and innovative. It combines the ability to drive with the top
down with the convenience of having a roof rack, which in turn takes the
function, convenience and style to an entirely new level. Now Jeepers will have the ability to remove,
raise or lower the soft top on their Jeep easily while not needing to unload
any of their gear that might be stored in the roof rack.
By having a soft top and a
roof rack that are combined, this top allows for its owners to use their Jeep
to its total potential for things like off road driving, camping or any other
hobby that they might have. This top
also features a retractable function called the Sun Slider. This allows for the top to be slid back simply
by releasing a pair of latches which creates an open air feel for Jeepers while
not having to deal with the hassle of getting out of the Jeep. The roof rack has a capacity for 300 lbs. of
cargo and the externally suspended design of the soft top fastens by using an
entire series of straps made from Velcro along the bars on the outside of the
roof rack. The Velcro applies a pulling
force that assists in both shaping and tightening the top. This top is available for 2 door and 4 door
Jeeps and the design is patent pending.
Installation is simple and requires no cutting, drilling or
welding. Simply bolt in on and you are
ready to go.
